Our cactus and succulent mix is specially formulated for drought-tolerant plants that hate sitting in wet soil. Fast-draining and gritty, just the way they like it.

Best for: Cacti, succulents, echeverias, aloes, haworthias, sedums, and other drought-tolerant plants.

Why the ingredients work:

Coco coir holds a small amount of moisture to hydrate roots, then dries out quickly
Perlite and vermiculite create a light, open structure that lets water pass through rapidly
Horticultural sand replicates the gritty, mineral-rich soils these plants grow in naturally
Potting grit adds more texture to the mix and promotes excellent drainage
Worm castings supply gentle nutrients without the risk of over-feeding

How to use: Cacti love to live in terracotta or unglazed pot if you have one to hand. Fill the base with mix, place your plant, then backfill and firm lightly. Leave unwatered for a few days to let any disturbed roots settle, then water sparingly. Less is always more with cacti and succulents.

Potting mix is perfect for houseplants and cacti, just what I needed. However like the other reviews have said unfortunately the delivery took about 10 days - 2 weeks, and when I messaged the seller to ask if I'd receive my order as it showed the shop no longer existed I had no reply. Luckily, my order turned up.

Third? Fourth order? I've lost track! This is the best soil ever and my planta love it. Indoor or out! My latest repot I decided to mix it up a bit and one side has regular soil and the other, where I've put in some mandragora seeds, I'm using succulent soil.

Love the option to buy smaller quantities, I mainly have cacti but just brought a plant that was desperately in a pot way too small, so brought a small amount of this for 1 plant and the cacti mix. Good quality and nice small detail of the gloves. Will definitely buy again!

Brilliant! I live in a small studio so didn't want to go to a garden centre and buy a big bag, good size bag and I have some left after re-potting about 5 cacti. Soil seems good quality and my plants are happy :) Gloves are a really nice touch that I definitely would have forgotten. Thankyou

Excellent soil, has made my cacti, succulents and crassula very happy. The item was dispatched quickly - the delivery took a little longer than estimated through Etsy, but as expected in these times for my local area. The bags are re-sealable, which is a useful touch. When I next need to more repotting, this will be my first port of call!

Received potting mix on time and have planted my baby succulents and hope they will like it. Time will tell.
